The Silver Tomahawk Award
With application of the skills learned during the course in their home units, participants can earn the Silver Tomahawk Award patch. Goals for applying the lessons learned are agreed upon with the home unit Scoutmaster and are accomplished during the six months after the course.
The Silver Tomahawk Award recognizes that the purpose of NYLT is not just to provide a great training adventure and experience for scouts, but to develop Leaders that serve their Troops.
