| Better serve our constituents through the use of technology to include: |
|
| · A website that is user friendly, easy to navigate, up to date and informative |
| · Utilization of electronic communication |
| · Develop web based technologies to provide opportunities for online purchases and sign up and pay for events online |

|
| 2. Branding |
|
| Ensure that the general public and our constituents recognize Scouting by: |
|
| · Utilizing the National BSA logos and Quivira Council logo on all communication pieces including printed, electronic and website |
| · Build a cohesive marketing effort that supports all departments of the Quivira Council |
|
|
| 3. 100th Anniversary of Scouting |
|
| Fully engage the community, Scouts, leaders, parents and our constituents in the celebration of Scouting’s 100th anniversary by: |
|
| · Building a leadership committee representative of the Council to fully utilize the National Organization’s 100th anniversary plan and support materials |
| · Providing consistent and timely updates on the Council’s 100th anniversary plans to donors constituents and the public |
| · Identify specific areas of support and involvement for volunteers who are re-engaged through our 100th anniversary efforts to support Scouting into the future |
|
| 4. Communication and Year Round Marketing |
|
| Build a comprehensive year round marketing and communication plan to promote Scouting |
|
| · Promote Scouting’s values to parents, chartered organizations, donors and the public |
| · Organize and support District public relations and marketing efforts |
| · Organize a year round marketing plan that includes quarterly areas of “focus” such as Good Turn for America |
· Market to our Council’s diverse ethnic communities |
