·  Communicate directly with parents through an electronic newsletter with timely and informative information

2.  Review District organization

·  Determine Quivira Council recommendations including acceptable guidelines on district size for both volunteers and professional staff

·  Determine the best allocation of resources to maximize the greatest opportunity for program delivery, membership growth and unit service

3.  Build strong and dynamic leadership of both volunteers and professionals

·  Fully utilize the new PDS system to help with professional career planning

·  Develop and institute mentoring for new staff (from both volunteers and fellow professionals)

·  Analyze volunteer structure at the Council and in all Districts to build “Two Deep” leadership

4.  Recruit, promote and support volunteer leadership
