Canoe Q

Canoe Quivira, (Canoe Q) Will be a twice a year program at the Quivira Scout Ranch much like Black Jack Trail (BJT). The event will feature Canoeing “Crews” that will tour the lake by canoe in September and May for a one night canoe camping trek in the backcountry of QSR. This program will help Troop and Crew leadership better understand how to prepare and take a lightweight trek by canoe. This program is meant to provide Troops and Crews with another way to use and enjoy the Quivira Scout Ranch and apply the skills they have already learned to a new activity. This is a program for Scouts, Venturers and Adults who are already experienced in canoeing and camping.

This program is not meant to teach any of the skills listed below.
