2013 National Jamboree Campership Application

Here are some important points regarding the Campership Application:

• Funds ARE available to assist those who need financial help in order to attend the Jamboree.
• Central Region does not provide funding above the BSA Jamboree fee of $850.  Generally, we award up to half camperships but, in rare circumstances, grant the whole shot.
• Camperships are based on REAL and JUSTIFIABLE need.
• Applications from families with excessive incomes will not be entertained.
• The Central Region accepts all applications on a first-come-first-served basis. This means that awards are determined on a regular basis so that families do not have to wait until October to know if they have been accepted.
• CAUTION; funds may be exhausted BEFORE the October 1st date. This occurred in 2010 and is expected again in 2013.
