Scholarship Program from Trail's End
Earn a Trail's End Scholarship 
The Trail's End Scholarship Program is open to any Scout who sells popcorn and who meets the qualifying criteria. A Scout can earn 6% of his popcorn sale total each year and let it earn interest until he is ready to use it for his post-high school education. Scouts qualify for the Scholarship Program the FIRST year they sell $2500 or more in one sale. Every year they sell popcorn after the first qualifying year, no matter how much they sell - their sales total goes into the Scholarship Fund Program.
IMPORTANT! Parent's are 100% responsible for their Scout's Scholarship Program! Application must be submitted by the Parent or Guardian - and all sales forms MUST be retained by the Scout/Parent from year to year. submit the application and qualifying sales forms as soon as the sale is complete in December. Sales form copies should be kept on file at home until your Scout applies for his scholarship payout. Trail's End will need copies with each application every year, but it is your responsibility to maintain the records as well. Unit Kernels do NOT retain sales records from year to year for Scholarship Scout Records! This application has confidential information (Social Sec Number) on it - and is a contract between Trail's End and each Scholarship Scout/Family directly. Council does NOT maintain the records.
