Trapper's Rendezvous Apparel Pre-Orders are now CLOSED. Some inventory may be available on site for purchase.
The tradition of the rendezvous was started by General William Ashley's men of the Rocky Mountain Fur company, in 1825. Mountain man James Beckworth described the festivities as a scene of "mirth, songs, dancing, shouting, trading, running, jumping, singing, racing, target shooting, yarns, and frolic with all sorts of extravagances that mountain men, trappers, and native Americans could invent."
Trappers' Rendezvous is held on Martin Luther King Holiday weekend each January, so mark your calendars now. Participation has grown to more than 4,000, and includes mountain men and Scouting units from states throughout the Midwest. You wont want to miss this event!
