Big Bear Camp
Fun
...adventure...new camping experience for Scouts who will be “Bears” in the fall!
Cub Scout Bear Camp is designed to be the first overnight "resident" camp experience for Bear Scouts. The camp runs three days and two nights, starting midday of the first day and ending after lunch on day three. There will be swimming, BB-guns, archery, bicycles, crafts, field activities, campfires, and fun! Programs are designed so that achievements are met while doing the activities. Meals are provided and served in the dining hall.

Who is eligible to attend Big Bear camp?
Any registered scout who is Bear Rank. Usually this is Cub Scouts

finishing second grade this spring. New boys just signing up to join your den may also attend Big Bear Camp. Parents are encouraged to attend along with Cub Scout leaders.

How about leadership?
Two-deep leadership and adult supervision must be provided by your pack. If your den is unable to provide two-deep leadership at camp, let us know. Your den will be assigned a camping area with another den to ensure two-deep leadership. Every boy should have the opportunity to experience summer camp.

Webelos Camp
Webelos Scout Camp is designed to provide an introduction to outdoor camping for first and second-year Webelos Scouts. Second-year Webelos will be introduced to COPE by participating in low course events. The camp runs three days and two nights and includes programs for both first and second-year Webelos during the same session. This allows your unit to follow the same schedule using the same adult leadership. And certain activities, such as campfires, swimming, and camp-wide events can be attended by everyone from your pack.
Like Big Bear camp, programs are designed so that achievements are met during the activities. Great meals are provided in the dining hall. There is also swimming, BB-guns, archery, campfires, skits, and lots of surprises and FUN!

Who is eligible to attend Webelos Camp?
Scouts finishing the third and fourth grades should take full advantage of the new challenges available at Webelos Camp. Webelos who are graduating from the fifth grade should join a Scout troop in the spring and get in on the opportunity to go to camp at Quivira Scout Ranch (QSR).

How About Leadership?
Two-deep leadership and adult supervision must be provided by your pack. If your unit is unable to provide two-deep leadership at camp, let us know. Your unit will be assigned a camping area with another unit to ensure two-deep leadership. Every boy should have the opportunity to experience summer camp.
