Troop 1910

What is Troop 1910?

Troop 1910 is a unique membership opportunity for Alumni, Volunteers, Leaders, Scouts, former Scouts, Eagle Scouts, and interested community members to Connect,  Re-engage, and help Re-connect Alumni  with Quivira Council Scouting. As we move into the next 100 years, we'll highlight the Quivira Council's programs, and keep you abreast of our 'Delivering the Promise" Capital Campaign progress and status.  We will provide new and innovative ways to be involved in Scouting by asking you to let us know how you'd like to keep the Scouting Movement Message alive in your community.

We had a fantastic Inaugural Dinner Event at Newman University's Dugan Library on Thursday, October 28th. Thank you to Council Commissioner, Brad Bechtel, for sharing his Scouting experience with us; and to  BSA Troop 533's Matthew Cory for highlighting his journey to  Eagle and his experience in OA, and as QSR Camp Staff. A special thank you to Troop 405 Life Scout Zak Steele, who generously shared his 100th Anniversary Jamboree Video with us.   Debi Kreutzman from the Kansas Food Bank shared information about how BSA and The Food Bank were able to partner during our Annual Good Turn for America/Scouting For Food Drive in September.  We hope we'll have more opportunities for these Scouts, and others, to share their Scouting experiences with Troop 1910.  Our next gathering will be at the Council Annual Dinner on February 26, 2011.  Watch your mailbox for invitations!  Charter Members will receive their Troop 1910 pins during the Recognition Program.

If you were not able to join us, please let us know you'd like to join Troop 1910 by completing the Engagement Card found HERE, and emailing it to us HERE.  You may also mail the form to our office at 1555 E. 2nd Street  Wichita, KS  67214, or fax it to us at: (316) 264-6054.
